A Warm Hello & A Little About Us

About us section

Hi, I’m Michelle — a fully insured professional cat sitter based in Purley.

Cats have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I absolutely love getting to know each one’s personality, quirks, and little habits. I currently have three rescue cats who I adore, but every cat I meet is unique, and that’s what makes my job so rewarding!

With my home visit service, your cat(s) can stay in their own familiar space, enjoying their usual routine, favourite spots, and all the comforts of home — no stressful catteries here!

Going away? I’ll pop in for at least 30 minutes to top up food and water, clean litter trays, do some of grooming, and give them plenty of cuddles, play, and attention.

I only charge for one cat, no matter how many you have, and I’ll send you daily updates and photos so you can relax while you’re away. Need a few extras done around the house? I’m happy to bring in post, water plants, feed fish, take out the bins — whatever makes life easier for you.

Fully insured and reliable, I’m always here if your plans change, so you can leave knowing your cat(s) are in safe, caring hands.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at michelledane543@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

What areas do you cover?

Purley, Coulsdon, Kenley, South Croydon, Warlingham and Sanderstead.

What can I expect when I book a cat sit?

Booking is simple — just contact us via the link below to arrange your cat sitting or ask any questions.

We recommend starting with a free initial meet-up at your home, or via Zoom/Signal if that’s easier, or discussing your requirements by email or text. We’ll get to know you and your cat, and cover everything we need:

  • Food and litter location
  • Cleaning and disposal products
  • Key and alarm arrangements
  • Vet details, medication, and emergency contacts

Daily care is included in every visit:
• Fresh food and water once or twice a day
• Cleaned bowls and litter trays
• Interaction, play, and welfare checks

Cats aren’t just fed — they’re cared for every day. We don’t offer alternate-day visits, because daily attention with twice-a-day visitation (if we are the only visitor) is essential for a happy, healthy feline.

Do you care for senior cats or cats with medical needs?

Yes — we’re very happy to care for senior cats and understand they may need a little extra attention. We can follow specific routines, monitor food and litter habits, and administer certain medications if required, ensuring your cat stays comfortable and well cared for while you’re away.

Can you give my cat medication?

Yes, we are experienced in administering medication. During our initial visit to your home, we will discuss and document the specific details of your cat's medical needs, including:

  • Exact dosage and timing
  • Preferred administration methods (hidden in food, pill pockets, syringe or direct administration)
  • Storage instructions

Owners will be responsible for the correct supply of medication and any vet visits, and we will always strictly follow the dosage, frequency and storage instructions.

What happens if my cat is unwell while I am away?

While illness or injury is a rare occurrence, we closely monitor your cat’s health during every visit. Should we feel veterinary intervention is necessary, our first priority is to contact you. If we are unable to reach you or your emergency contact, we reserve the right to take your cat to the vet to ensure their wellbeing. We will continue to make every effort to contact you. All vet costs will be the responsibility of the owner.

What is your cancellation policy?

We request a 24-hour notice for cancellations. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a fee.

How do I organise and pay for a cat sitting visit?

To organise a cat sitting visit, simply fill out the form below or send us a text with the dates you need cover for, your cat’s needs — and please do tell us all about your cats! We love getting to know their little quirks and personalities.

Payment is required in advance of the first sitting. We prefer BACS, but we also accept cash or cheque. There’s no cancellation fee, we only ask that if you need to cancel any visits, you provide more than 24 hours before the first visit.

Once payment has been received, we can arrange a quick meet-up and key handover — whatever you need, I’ll make arrangements!

How much do you charge for visiting additional cats?

We charge a flat rate for all visits, no matter how many furry friends you have. Just let us know what their needs are, and we’d love to come visit them!

Can I request additional small tasks while you’re visiting?

Of course! We’re happy to help with those little extras while you’re away. We can bring in post and parcels, put the bins out, water your indoor and outdoor plants, and whatever odd jobs you need done around the house.

How do I hand off my keys and have them returned?

However you want to hand over the keys, we will always accommodate you. You want to hand them off during a quick meetup? Great. You have a keysafe? Perfect. And when you get back, we can return them to you personally, or drop them through your letterbox!

How do you store my keys?

All keys are unlabelled and are kept safe in a key safe between visits.
